Pet Memorial & Gardens
At Possum Ridge our gardens and pet memorials are a peaceful haven to visit and remember your beloved pet.
For families who have chosen to have no ashes returned, our Pet Scatter Garden is a pleasant place for your pets ashes to be scattered. You can also choose to purchase a plaque to place on the Pet Memorial Board as a loving way to remember your pet.
Scatter Garden
There are many personal reasons for some families not desiring to keep their pets ashes at home. For some, the idea of returning their beloved pet to the earth has an appeal that can’t be ignored. Our peaceful, tropical Pet Memorial Garden has been designed as the perfect place for this purpose.
For any who choose to have their pet’s ashes scattered in our gardens, an opportunity will also be provided to purchase an outdoor plaque on our Pet Memorial Board as a lasting tribute to your pet.
Our gardens are fully accessible to you and your family anytime you wish to visit.
Cairns Crematorium Memorial Gardens
Occasionally families have an existing memorial prearranged in the adjacent Cairns Crematorium Memorial Gardens, and would like the opportunity to have their pets ashes placed in the same location. This will need to be assessed on an individual basis, but is generally allowed.
Please contact the Crematorium staff to ask for advice and a quote.
